Once your database has acquired many entries, it becomes impractical to find a given record by scrolling through them. The recommended method is to use the green Find boxes.
If you know the Client ID, type it EXACTLY in the "Find ID" box.
If you are unsure of the exact spelling of the Client ID or know only a part of the company name, or the first name of the primary contact, or the surname of the primary contact, type it in the Company Name, First Name or Surname box as the case may be.
For example, entering "Ac" in the Company Name box will return all companies starting with "Ac", like Acme, Acton, Acheson, etc. Similarly, typing "David" in the First Name box will return all primary contacts whose names are David or Davidson, etc.
