Why wasn't a relationship enforced upsizing from Access to SQL Server 2005?

In Access database there might be a relationship that has property 'Enforce referential integrity' set to FALSE.

In SQL Server 2005 that relationship wasn't enforced because there might be unmatched records in 'Many' table Test9.

To enforce that relationship you should validate data in 'Many' table (Test9) first, for example, you could run the following query:


SELECT CustomerID FROM dbo.Test9
LEFT OUTER dbo.Test10
WHERE dbo.Test10.CustomerID IS NULL

Fix the data in the table Test9 and set 'Enforce Foreign Key Constraint' to TRUE.
